"Songwriting in Nashville for the past four years has allowed me to experiment with multiple genres of music, and I eventually found myself gravitating towards more cinematic production. As a kid, I started in music as a piano player, learning how to play songs from musicals like Phantom of the Opera and Cats. I think I've always been drawn to music with a little drama... the way it tugs on my heart strings and always takes me somewhere new. I'm easily inspired by orchestral elements and the emotional progression I feel in cinematic music. This 'new sound' isn't really that new for me. It feels like I'm going back to the very thing that drew me to music in the beginning."
It wasn't long before her haunting songs began to find their way onto multiple television shows and film trailers, and in 2015 RUELLE released her first collection of music into the world via her EP entitled Up in Flames. While the songs were written and arranged with various producers, they all contain her ethereal vocals accompanied by dark, cinematic production and enticing melodies that stay inside your head for days. RUELLE has since continued to dominate the TV/film world with her powerful songwriting and angelic voice. Her songs have been heard on shows like Gotham, Grey’s Anatomy, The Walking Dead, Pretty Little Liars, Showhunters, Eyewitnesses, Revenge, The Originals, and Dancing with the Stars - just to name a few. She has also landed songs in promos for the 2016 summer Olympics as well as in film trailers for Free State of Jones, Bad Moms, and Keeping up with the Joneses.
RUELLE is currently working on her first full length album, which she hopes to release in 2018.
